We are a family run business specialising in restoration and cleaning of all types of antique Persian and other Oriental rugs and carpets. Each year we repair and restore hundreds of Persian rugs including very fine and silk pieces. We clean and restore antique Turkish, Persian, Afghan, Indian and Chinese rugs as well as kilims and North African and European rugs.
We offer free collections and deliveries of all rugs across the UK.
Antique Rug & Carpet Cleaning
Each year we clean hundreds of Antique rugs and carpets. All rugs are thoroughly washed by hand- just like they would have been done in the middle east. All rugs are cleaned in our workshop and we clean the following types of rugs:
– Fine Persian rugs and silk carpets including Nain, Qum, Tabriz, Isfahan
– Other Oriental Rugs such as Turkish, Chinese, Afghan, Indian and Caucasian.
– Very large carpets like Ushak and Heriz
– All kinds of Wool and Tribal rugs and carpets
Antique Rug & Carpet Repair & Restoration
Repairing and Restoration of Persian Rugs and Carpets is our bread and butter. All repairs are carried out by our team of skilled craftsmen and weavers and we are able to repair all kinds of accidental damage as well as wear and tear. We can repair:
– fringes and sides (cords)
– moth and pet damage
– flood and fire damage
– holes and tears
– threadbare areas
– all other types of damage
