We can issue fixed quotes for most of the minor repair works to the edges and fringes of the rug based on photographs or accurate description of the rug and its dimensions
For more complex repair we will to see photographs of the damage or in some cases assess it in person before issuing a fixed quote

A Few words about Oriental Rug Repair
1. It’s always best to get Oriental rugs repaired when you first notice any signs of damage. This will likely be cheaper than waiting for things to get worse
2. We will always be happy to give you advice on any repairs or how to prevent damage, or if your rug has already developed any problems- we will be able to advise on how to stop it getting worse
3. It is normal for any rug to develop some minor issues over time, especially if it’s in a high footfall area, so please don’t worry if you notice minor defects or damage
4. If you notice any damage developing, whatever you do- please never apply any sticky tape to the affected area, this will likely make it much harder for the rug to be repaired in the future
5. There are usually more than one way to repair a rug, we will always be happy to discuss different options with you
6. Some repairs, especially major restoration work can be very time consuming. We only ever repair oriental rugs by hand
